Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working the 6 PM to 6 AM shift, with every other weekend off to promote work-life balance. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents and patients across various settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Duties Assist residents and patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report findings promptly to nursing staff. Support patient transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices. Administer medications and treatments following established protocols under supervision, maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control procedures. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal care outcomes. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice. Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation. Strong communication skills, compassionate caregiving attitude, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. $16.00 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
