In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in the comfort of their own home. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care while assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in your care. Duties As a Nursing Assistant/Caregiver, your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Providing emotional support and companionship to patients, particularly those in memory care or dealing with dementia. Assisting with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by nursing staff. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Utilizing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as required for patient assistance.
Experience Ideal candidates will possess:
Previous experience in patient care settings such as hospitals or hone environments. Familiarity with geriatrics and experience working with the elderly is a plus. Knowledge of memory care practices and dementia care techniques. Experience in inpatient settings or home community care is highly valued.
