Do you have a passion for providing compassionate care to patients in need? If your answer is yes, then we have the perfect job for you! Job Summary The hospice aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary group who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient's personal needs and to promote comfort. The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting observations, and documenting care performed. Join our team and contribute to the quality, continuity, and safety of patient care. Duties & Responsibilities Perform personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bed linen Assist with dressing and undressing patients Plan and prepare nutritious meals Take and record vital signs Provide proper care and observation of patient's skin Report on patient's condition and significant changes Assist in ambulation and exercise Offer and assist with bedpans and urinals Perform range of motion and other simple procedures Keep patient's living area clean and orderly Adhere to documentation and care procedures Participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams Job Requirements Successful completion of a state-established or other training program Meets the training requirements of the State At least 18 years of age Ability to read and follow written instructions Understanding of hospice philosophy Satisfactory references from previous employers Self-directing with the ability to work with little supervision Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired Current CPR certification Good oral and written communication skills Good organizational skills If you are a talented and compassionate CNA Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant seeking an immediate opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, apply now!
