Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster a positive experience for those in your care, making a meaningful difference every day Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and transfer methods to safely move residents while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive resident service. Experience Previous experience working as a CNA. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient transfer methods Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring long-term or hospice care is advantageous Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required Strong caregiver communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including geriatric and behavioral health patients Join us in delivering compassionate patient-centered care that transforms lives!
