Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care and assistance to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA is responsible for supporting residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and eating. Assist residents with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion activities as directed. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition to licensed nursing staff. Take and record vital signs, weights, and other assigned measurements. Assist residents with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance. Document care and services provided accurately and timely. Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies and procedures. Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team. Participate in maintaining a positive, resident-centered environment. Qualifications Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and/or registration as required by applicable state regulations. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred but not required. Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to residents. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including assisting residents with mobility and transfers. From $20.50 per hour
