Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver & CNA, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personalized care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques. Monitor patients' vital signs, observe health status changes, and accurately document care plans and patient progress. Administer medications following prescribed instructions while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy. Support clients with meal preparation, light cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders, including memory care and behavioral support strategies. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer devices to assist with safe patient movement and prevent injury. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and ensure comprehensive support. Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks required for patient transfers. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental conditions—is a strong plus. Strong skills in patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and geriatrics are desirable. Ability to assist with personal transportation needs and provide compassionate caregiving tailored to each client's unique needs. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications related to home health or long-term care are advantageous.
