Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) as trained and authorized Maintain patient safety through proper manual handling techniques, safe lifting practices, and use of equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Observe and report changes in patient conditions promptly to nursing staff or healthcare providers Uphold patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health needs, or pediatric patients is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, aseptic technique, and infection control practices Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Mumms with timely documentation of visits. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks involving patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong caregiving skills with excellent communication abilities tailored to working with patients of all ages and backgrounds Certification in CPR/BLS is preferred however not required; Prior experience in hospital medicine, hospice, long-term care facilities, sub-acute or post-acute care settings is beneficial Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
