Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Plainview Healthcare Center in Plainview, Texas. As a CNA with our Per Diem team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our dedicated staff. Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Plainview Healthcare Center, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including basic nursing procedures, vital signs, and activities of daily living (ADLs). You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care. This is a per diem position, which means you will work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, including assistance with ADLs, vital signs, and basic nursing procedures Work closely with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and activities Assist with daily living needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding Perform vital signs and other basic nursing procedures as needed Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress
Requirements:
CNA certification in the state of Texas High school diploma or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and nights Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
