Job Description
Methodist Health System is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to oversee a multidisciplinary care team within our faith-based, patient-centered environment. The Clinical Team Lead coordinates daily clinical operations, manages staffing and patient flow, and ensures adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role provides clinical expertise at the bedside, mentors and develops nursing and allied health staff, and partners closely with physicians to drive evidence-based care. The Clinical Team Lead collaborates across departments, supports performance improvement initiatives, and helps implement new care models that enhance patient outcomes and experience for the North Texas community. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations and patient flow for assigned unit or care area Provide direct clinical expertise and serve as a resource to nursing and allied health staff Supervise, mentor, and coach team members, supporting orientation, training, and ongoing development Ensure adherence to quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians and other departments to optimize patient outcomes Monitor unit performance metrics and support quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Assist with scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet patient care needs Support implementation of new care models, policies, and clinical protocols Foster a collaborative, patient-centered culture aligned with Methodist Health System's mission and values Required Skills Clinical leadership Patient care management Staff supervision Care coordination Quality improvement Regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Patient safety protocols Performance measurement and reporting Interdisciplinary teamwork
