Job Description

Rowlett Health & Rehabilitation paid CNA Certification Program! No cost to the students! We provide training for individuals to obtain their CNA certification and begin a rewarding career in the Long-Term Health Care Industry. The purpose of this class is to hire qualified individuals to work at our facility. We are now accepting applications for our class starting August 24, 2026. Full-time employee's at Rowlett work 10 eight hour days in a two week pay period that rotate on a 4 on 2 off schedule. Don't wait, complete the application! Interviews are now taking place for the 15 available slots. Rowlett waves the cost of the program and reimburses for testing for certification. We require a minimum of a 1-year commitment working at our facility. If your goal is to go through our class, earn certification, and work elesewhere, you will be charged the cost of the class. Our program will fully prepare you to become a Certified Nursing Assistant! • Once certified, you will receive an increase in your pay rate. • Each student is well prepared to successfully complete the CNA certification course and pass the State Exam, so you will begin your new career path at our amazing state of the art facility and the team that works here as soon as possible. . Essential Job Functions of a
CNA:
Provides basic patient care to include, but not limited to, care and comfort, record vital signs, personal care and hygiene, and mobility, including unit based specialty duties. Acts as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes or concerns to nurse. Provides high level customer service to all patients, patient's family, visitors, and all employees. Provides accurate, precise, timely documentation when applicable for patient care. Uses professional, verbal, and written communication skills at all times.
