Duties:

• Provide direct patient care and assist in the delivery of healthcare services
• Perform and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of licensed nurses or physicians
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior care facility or hospital
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and medical documentation
• Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements and using medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
• Understanding of aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare staff members
