Scope of Responsibility As a Certified Nurse Aide you will provide appropriate assistance to patients with ADLs and mobility as directed by therapy staff and helps to maintain a clean and safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or LVN in charge. Responsible to Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Training and Experience Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider 1 year current hospital or nursing home Nurse Aide experience or completion of Nurse Aide Course preferred Current certification through the Texas Nurse Aide Registry Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check Lab Work Immunization Records Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day) Occasionally (½ to 2 ½ hour per day) Frequently (2 ½ to 5 ½ hours per day) Continually (5 ½ to 8 hours per day) Not Applicable Physical Sitting
