In this role, you'll build on your CNA experience by taking on greater responsibility, supporting more complex resident care needs, and working with increased independence while collaborating closely with licensed nursing staff. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You'll Do Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting. Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Assist with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper safety and lifting techniques. Take and report vital signs and promptly communicate changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff. Administer basic medical treatments and procedures under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with medication management, including medication reminders and assistance with self-administration, in accordance with applicable regulations and training. Participate in care planning meetings and provide observations and insights regarding residents' needs, preferences, and overall well-being. Provide companionship, socialization, and emotional support to residents. Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas. Accurately document care provided and resident observations. What Makes You Successful High school diploma or equivalent. Current CNA certification and completion of a state-approved CNA training program. 1-3 years of CNA or related caregiving experience. Additional training or experience beyond entry-level CNA requirements. Current CPR certification. Strong knowledge of basic nursing skills, procedures, and resident care practices. Understanding of medication assistance protocols and applicable safety requirements. Ability to confidently and competently handle more complex resident care needs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent walking and standing, as well as regular bending, stooping, sitting, reaching, and other physical movement. Team members must be able to safely use proper body mechanics and lifting techniques to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, and push or pull residents or equipment weighing more than 100 pounds for short durations, with assistance when appropriate.
