Job Summary:
The CNA's main objective is to provide quality care to the community residents as specified on individualized resident care plan/Med Plan according to established policies, procedures and objectives of our community. Under the supervision of Resident Care Director, the CNA is responsible to provide residents with medication management, assistance for activities of daily living, physical comfort, emotional and social support. Communication with doctors offices on a routine basis.
Additional Responsibilities:
Employee must have a great personality and enjoy working with seniors. Employee must be patient, caring and have the ability to do task at a slower pace in order to accommodate all residents' needs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
a) Age 18 or older. b) High School Diploma, GED or equivalency required. c) Maintain current CNA, First Aid, CPR and Food Handlers Certifications. d) At least 1 year prior experience with the geriatric and/or dementia population preferred. e) Computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft programs required. f) Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English Language.
