Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Home Care (1099 Contractor)

Job Summary As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Venture Health, you will provide direct care and support to clients in their homes. CNAs play a vital role in promoting clients' safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and adherence to all Virginia home care regulations. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor clients' vital signs , report changes in condition, and communicate observations to the supervising nurse. Assist with medication reminders as allowed by state regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment . Document care provided and client observations accurately and promptly. Follow infection control protocols and proper hygiene practices. Respond professionally to client and family needs. Participate in training and continuing education as required. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Virginia. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable transportation to travel to client homes. Must pass a background check and drug screening before starting. Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift and assist clients. Stamina to stand, bend, and move clients as needed throughout the shift.
Compensation Competitive pay:
$16- $18 per hour (based on experience). Mileage reimbursement will be discussed on final interview. Flexible scheduling for independent contractors. Only candidates who meet all requirements and successfully pass the background check and drug screening will be considered.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have a current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification? Are you willing to undergo a background check and drug screening? Are you comfortable working in clients' homes and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)? Are you willing to travel to Columbia surrounding areas for ther clients?
