Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities through personalized memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and document all medication administration accurately Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and assisting with light housekeeping duties Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Demonstrated expertise in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments enhances your suitability for this role Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while adhering to safety guidelines Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within caregiving environments Join us to provide compassionate, expert care that enriches lives every day!
