Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need support with daily activities and healthcare needs. This rewarding role provides the opportunity to deliver personalized, respectful, and compassionate care in a variety of settings, including private homes, assisted living communities, nursing homes, and hospice environments. As part of our team, you will help promote clients' independence, safety, and overall well-being while building a fulfilling career dedicated to improving quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support, using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, and accurately document findings in Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support medication administration according to prescribed guidelines while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease by utilizing memory care techniques and behavioral support strategies Perform healthcare-related duties, including catheter care, wound care assistance, and hospice support for clients with complex medical needs Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements, assist with feeding when needed, and maintain a clean and safe home environment through light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patients' conditions and any observed changes Requirements Previous experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities in home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or similar healthcare settings Knowledge of medical terminology and experience using EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation Certification as a
CNA, HHA, PCA
, or an equivalent credential, along with current CPR certification Ability to safely perform physical duties, including assisting with transfers using Hoyer lifts and supporting clients with mobility equipment Strong observational skills to recognize and report changes in patients' conditions Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to building trust with clients and their families Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including live-in assignments when required, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality at all times •Some benefits are available to full-time employees only.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
