Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and flexible Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Float Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Float Nurse will travel between assigned clinic locations to provide clinical support, ensure quality patient care, and assist providers in delivering efficient healthcare services. This position is ideal for an adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with diverse patient populations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Float between multiple practice locations as assigned. Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliations. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Administer medications and injections in accordance with provider orders and applicable regulations. Perform clinical duties including specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and wound care. Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care. Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and infection control standards. Comply with all HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies and procedures. Qualifications Medical Assistant (MA) Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. Current unrestricted LPN license.
