Job Description
Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care in various settings such as private homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice environments. Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance, utilizing equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required Monitor patients' health by recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, while accurately maintaining records within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support medication administration according to established protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Deliver specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease by applying memory care approaches and behavioral support techniques Carry out healthcare-related duties such as catheter care, wound care assistance, and hospice support to address complex medical needs Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions, assist with feeding as needed, and maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions within medical record systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient conditions and any observed changesRequirements:
Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in environments such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings Understanding of medical terminology and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for precise documentation and record keeping Certification as a CNA, HHA, PCA, or equivalent, with CPR certification required to ensure emergency preparedness Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including assisting with transfers using Hoyer lifts and supporting clients with mobility aids Strong observation skills to effectively monitor patients and identify signs of distress or changes in condition Compassionate and professional attitude paired with strong communication skills to establish trust and positive relationships with clients and their families Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including live-in assignments if needed, while consistently adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict patient confidentiality •Some benefits are only available to full-time employees.Pay:
