Schedule:

Every Friday and Every other weekend 9a-2p. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory care needs by implementing tailored routines and behavioral health strategies Help with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and aseptic techniques in sterile environments like operating rooms or intensive care units Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene, using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and following protocols for infectious disease care and Level I Trauma Center procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings including ICU, emergency medicine, pediatric units (PICU), or post-acute care environments to ensure seamless patient service Skills Proven experience working in critical care environments such as ICU or Level II trauma centers; familiarity with emergency medicine procedures is highly valued Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices across EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Cerner Demonstrated ability to perform patient service tasks including vital signs measurement, catheter care, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) certification Experience caring for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs in settings like assisted living or nursing homes Skilled in using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and understanding aseptic techniques for infection prevention Ability to work effectively within hospital medicine environments—medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics or home & community care programs—while maintaining HIPAA compliance Excellent communication skills paired with physiology knowledge to educate patients and coordinate with healthcare teams effectively Join us to provide compassionate patient-centered care that transforms lives.
