Job Description

Love and Loyalty Homecare is currently looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a child diagnosed with autism. We are seeking someone who has patience, understanding, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum and understand the importance of structure, routines, communication support, and positive behavioral redirection. The caregiver will assist with daily activities, encourage engagement, provide companionship, and help create a calm, safe, and supportive environment for the child. Experience with sensory needs, emotional regulation, and developmental support is strongly preferred. Responsibilities may include assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, supervision, educational or recreational activities, encouraging social interaction, maintaining routines, and providing updates to the family and agency regarding the child's care and progress. The caregiver must be attentive, professional, and able to remain calm during challenging situations while using appropriate redirection techniques and supportive care approaches.
Requirements for this position include:
