We are seeking committed, detail oriented, compassionate, self-motivated and cheerful CNAs to join our work family and provide the below listed Direct Care services to our residents. Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Full-Time Assisted Living Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on the 7 AM to 3 PM shift! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a supportive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and transfer methods. Monitor vital signs regularly and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Document all patient interactions, care provided, and observations in electronic health records (EHR systems) with precision and attention to detail. Support residents experiencing cognitive decline by implementing dementia and memory care strategies, ensuring a safe and comforting environment. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, therapy, and social services to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Maintain a safe environment by practicing aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or wound management and following infection control protocols. Experience Prior experience working with elderly populations in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (CPR). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks/Cerner) for accurate documentation is desirable. Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids ensures safe handling practices. Knowledge of dementia care techniques and memory support strategies enhances resident safety and comfort. Previous roles involving long-term care, geriatrics, hospice care, or hospital medicine provide a strong foundation for this position.
