Job Responsibilities Provide direct care and assistance to residents. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the direction of nursing supervisors. Bathe, dress, and undress residents while maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort. Serve and collect meal trays and assist residents with feeding as needed. Measure and accurately record residents' weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Monitor and document food and fluid intake and output as directed. Follow nursing instructions and provide safe, compassionate, and respectful resident care. Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team. Schedule Requirement 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Every other weekend is required. Benefits 403(b) employer-match investment plan Onsite gym available 24/7 Free meal per shift worked First Aid/CPR classes Shift differentials for weekday, evening, and night shifts Additional shift differentials for all weekend shifts Qualifications Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare with at least 1 year in long-term care experience is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift, and move about in the work area and throughout the Home to accomplish tasks Express and exchange ideas via spoken word conveying information to others in an audible, accurate, and quick manner Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers Visual acuity to read, prepare, and analyze Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force on occasions Subject to temperature changes, but is generally not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as the work is predominantly inside Licensure Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions CPR certified
