Helpful Hands Home Care Services is looking for a licensed CNA to join our team in a hybrid role split between two days a week — Monday and Friday. Some days you'll be out in the field covering client shifts; other days you'll be out building relationships with our community and referral partners. Position Details Schedule:

Minimum 10 hours per week, worked over 2 days — Monday and Friday Work will vary week to week between two types of tasks: - Shift Coverage — stepping in to provide hands-on care for clients as scheduling needs arise - Community Referrals— visiting referral sources and community partners to build and maintain relationships on behalf of Helpful Hands Reports to the Office Administrator What You'll Do Provide direct, hands-on personal care to clients when covering shifts, following each client's individualized care plan Comfortably switch gears between caregiving tasks and relationship-building tasks depending on the day's needs Visit community partners and referral sources to represent Helpful Hands and strengthen those relationships Deliver a consistently warm, professional, top-notch impression of Helpful Hands, whether at a client's bedside or a partner's front desk Communicate clearly with the office team about shift coverage, client needs, and community visits What You'll Need Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in good standing Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation Current auto insurance Ability to comfortably switch between hands-on caregiving and community/outreach work A genuine love for caring for seniors and helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence when representing the agency in the community Reliability and flexibility, since weekly duties may shift between shift coverage and community visits Why Join Helpful Hands Family-owned, boutique home care agency serving the Roanoke Valley for over 20 years A team that values quality care and genuine relationships over volume Variety in your workweek — no two days look exactly the same Ready to bring your caregiving heart and people skills to a role with variety?
