Role:
Homewatch CareGivers is opening a new office in Glen Allen, Virginia and will be servicing Shortpump and Midlothian. We currently seek to fill Caregiver positions to drive sales, establish partnerships and build connections. With 46 years in business, client satisfaction remains our top goal and we remain our commitment to provide kind and compassionate in-home care to individuals in need. Our high-quality care is individually tailored to the unique needs of our clients in their preferred surroundings.
Specific duties include:
PCA Duties Providing companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment. Preparing and serving meals, ensuring dietary needs are met. Escorting clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks. Participating in training and professional development sessions as needed. Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided and communicating effectively with team members. Assisting with administrative tasks when caregiver work is light, including scheduling and data entry. Monitor and document changes in client condition and report to supervisors. CNA Duties (in addition to the duties listed above) Assisting clients with ADL's including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Assisting with basic health monitoring. Observing and reporting changes in clients' physical/emotional condition Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort.
Selected candidates must have:
High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification required.
PCA, CNA
required applicable certifications. Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a desire to help others. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic technology for communication. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Shortpump and Midlothian area.
