Lake Prince Woods is a thriving, not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Suffolk, Virginia. Our community offers a full continuum of care, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Home Health services.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Healthcare Team on our 40-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of older adults, we encourage you to apply.

Position SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role assists residents in maintaining their highest possible level of physical, emotional, and social well-being while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Care is provided in accordance with physician orders, state and federal regulations, and Lake Prince Woods standards of excellence.

ResponsibilitiesProvide direct personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.

Support residents in maintaining independence and achieving their highest level of functioning.

Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.

Promote a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for residents.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans.

Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards.

QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.

ExperienceMinimum of three (3) months of experience performing basic nursing assistant duties preferred.

New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Certification & RequirementsSuccessful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.

Current CNA certification in good standing.

Completion of all required in-service training.

Must be at least 16 years of age in accordance with Department of Labor regulations.
