Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic Nurse Aides to join our caring team for the evening shifts 3-4 days per week with other shifts readily available . In this vital role, you will provide essential support to residents by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to management staff Support residents during meal times, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety procedures Document resident care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive resident care plans are followed Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or care homes is highly desirable Strong communication skills and compassionate nature required for effective resident support Certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) or equivalent preferred; ongoing training encouraged Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents safely throughout shifts Join us at Sunset Care Homes where your caring spirit can truly shine!
