Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a CNA, PCA, or DCA overnight caregiver, where your compassion and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential patient care during overnight shifts, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being for individuals in various care settings. You will work closely with a team of professionals to deliver personalized support, monitor health status, and assist with daily activities in a nurturing environment. Your commitment will help create a safe and supportive space for residents during the night hours. Duties Provide direct patient care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with medication administration and ensure proper care plans are followed under supervision Support residents with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Respond promptly to resident needs during overnight hours, providing emotional support and ensuring safety at all times Skills Proven experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs of distress or deterioration Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder CPR and First Aid certification to ensure immediate response in emergencies Ability to lift heavy residents safely using proper techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy and confidentiality Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting residents' social needs Experience assisting with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care plan implementation Join us overnight to provide compassionate care that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Pay:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
