Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistants to join our team for dayshift 7am-730pm and nightshift, 7pm-730am rotating schedule. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and common areas
- Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Skills:
- Experience in senior care or nursing home settings is preferred
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion towards patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
