Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents accurately and in accordance with physician orders and state regulations Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, and any changes in condition Communicate effectively with nursing staff, families, and care team members regarding resident needs Assist with meals, hydration, and daily activities to promote resident well-being Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents Follow all facility policies, HIPAA guidelines, and state-mandated care standards
Requirements:
Active Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required Valid Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification required Previous experience in a senior living, long-term care, or assisted living setting preferred Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary care team Reliable, punctual, and able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
