Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity to join our Med/Surg team, where we are dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. As an LNA on our team, you'll utilize communication skills to perform non-clinical and clinical tasks. From maintaining accurate medical records to answering calls and coordinating services, you'll be vital in delivering exceptional patient care. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to basic nursing and restorative duties, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. What you'll do day-to-day:
Comprehensive Patient Care:
Prepare patient rooms and assist with personal care needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that addresses patients' spiritual, physical, and psychosocial needs.
Vital Signs and Data Collection:
Collect and document essential patient data, including vital signs, heights, and weights, while effectively communicating relevant information to nursing staff regarding the patient's care plan.
Patient Transfers and Safety:
Safely assist with patient transfers to beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers, focusing on patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Vermont Nursing Assistant License required.
  • Acute care LNA experience preferred.
  • Current BLS is required from the American Heart Association.
