Job Description

Assisted Living & Secure Memory Care Farr Residential Care is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers and Medication Technicians to join our team. We have opportunities available in both our Assisted Living and Secure Memory Care communities. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where residents can maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life. We are looking for caring professionals who are reliable, observant, and committed to promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life. About the Role We have positions available in both our Assisted Living and Secure Memory Care communities. Residents in our Assisted Living community maintain a high level of independence and may benefit from supportive care, medication assistance, reminders, wellness monitoring, and encouragement with daily routines. Residents in our Secure Memory Care community may require additional cueing, supervision, redirection, and assistance with daily activities in a structured and secure environment. What You'll Do Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed while promoting dignity, respect, and independence. Support residents with daily routines through guidance, reminders, cueing, and encouragement. Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, or mood and promptly report concerns to nursing or management staff. Recognize and appropriately respond to changes in resident condition. Assist with medication administration as delegated and permitted by certification and training. Engage residents through conversation, activities, and meaningful interactions. Assist residents in preparing for appointments, outings, and scheduled activities. Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and other required information as assigned. Complete daily charting, progress notes, and shift documentation accurately and timely. Support dining services, meal setup, serving, and cleanup. Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed. Use redirection, de-escalation, and problem-solving techniques when supporting residents experiencing confusion or behavioral challenges. Follow resident care plans, company policies, and all safety procedures. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, residents, and family members. Maintain resident confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, and dependable individuals. Commitment to providing respectful, resident-centered care. Ability to recognize and report changes in resident condition. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Dementia Care, Direct Support, or other licensed care settings. CPR/First Aid certification. Dementia, Mental Health, or Developmental Disabilities training. Required by First Day of Employment Active Washington State HCA, CNA/NAC, or NAR. Washington State Food Worker Card. Ability to pass a Washington State Background Check. Authorization to work in the United States. Benefits $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Attendance Bonus Program

$20.00
