Day Shift Pay Range:
$23.03 - $34.59 per hour The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Be the calm, compassionate presence patients and families rely on during life's most difficult moments. What You'll Do As a CNA on Medical 3, you'll play a vital role in the patient experience by providing both hands-on care and emotional support.You will:
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and daily living activities. Help patients safely move, walk, transfer, and reposition. Take and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information. Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team. Provide comfort, reassurance, and compassionate support to patients and families. Support patients receiving oncology care and those facing complex medical conditions. Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked patient care environment. Collaborate closely with nurses and other caregivers to ensure patients receive excellent care. Accurately document patient care activities. Assist with unit support responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Credentials Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Washington State Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire through either American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) Skills & Attributes Compassion for patients and families during difficult healthcare experiences Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay organized and adapt in a fast-paced environment Excellent observation skills and attention to detail Commitment to providing respectful, patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Previous hospital, acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or rehabilitation experience Experience caring for medically complex patients Experience working with oncology, hospice, palliative care, or medical-surgical populations Nice to Have We understand that great caregivers come from different backgrounds and experiences.
