Job Description

Caregiver/Med Tech/CNA Job Description:
Caregivers and CNA's at Rosebrooke Senior Living provide quality and compassionate care the residents. This includes assisting in all areas as needed. Medication tech's are medication certified and assist in providing medications to the residents along with providing daily assistance with other needs. Job Qualifications Dependable and responsible. Respectful to elders and able to take direction and constructive criticism Able to communicate effectively, in a positive manner, with residents and staff. Honesty and integrity Experience working with the elderly and/or in a health care setting(s) is a plus but not mandatory Ability to empathize with residents and families Job duties Assist residents with daily personal cares, including bathing and toileting Assist residents with transfers, as needed Assist with preparing and set-up/cleanup of meals and snacks Launder residents clothing, bedding, and towels Give medications to residents at proper times after approved training Assist with resident recreational activities as needed Routinely observe resident physical/mental status Properly report changes or significant information accordingly Answer the telephone and communicate with visitors in a friendly, professional manner Fulfill housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned Complete all necessary paperwork/charting Attend required Continuing education trainings as scheduled Any and all other reasonably related duties as assigned This position requires strict confidentiality regarding all company matters. It is an expectation of Administration that any and all information shared will remain in the strictest confidence. Physical Requirements This position requires full range of body motion, including handling, lifting, and assisting residents, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. It requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds. It requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, and working under stressful conditions and/or working irregular hours at times.
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
