Job Description:
We're currently recruiting for a passionate Team Leader for our Facilities team to lead and coordinate activities for the department.THE DAY TO
DAY... Lead daily department operations, including filling in for employee absences as needed. Complete purchasing and invoicing activities as required. Oversee and coordinate custodial operations across all Brillion facilities on 1st and 2nd shifts. Lead and coach Facilities staff, including participation in corrective action and disciplinary matters as required. Train employees and implement custodial processes and procedures. Monitor dumpster levels and coordinate with vendors for timely service and removal. Lead and oversee facility sanitization processes. Generate monthly TPM/PM work orders for Buildings and Grounds. Assist with and oversee Hospitality work orders through completion. Serve as backup support for the Facilities Manager as needed. Adhere to and promote established standard work practices. Create, maintain, audit, and continuously improve standard work. Train new hires, transferred employees, and cross-trained team members. Utilize root cause problem-solving techniques to address issues impacting departmental goals and performance. Demonstrate a strong understanding of waste elimination, continuous improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery, with the ability to identify and eliminate waste. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other Ariens Company personnel. THE QUALIFICATIONS... Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Training and communication skills Understanding of Lean and 6S Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with the ability to create, edit, format, and maintain documents and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Understands and has the ability to utilize the Ariens Company Standardized Problem Solving Process Past leadership experience preferred Additional education in lean, leadership, or manufacturing preferred May require quarterly day travel to Kenosha location Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
