Responsibilities include examining patients, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, performing procedures, documenting in EMR, developing care plans, and prescribing medications within state guidelines. The role requires handling patients across all ages, with competencies in physical examinations, diagnostic interpretation, and patient education. Qualifications include completion of an accredited PA program or MSN with active license, with ongoing CME and recertification. Prior EMR experience is preferred. Physical demands involve standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to biological hazards.
