• Provide compassionate care to the residents in long-term care facility
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information regarding residents and other employees
• Performs basic nurse aide skills
• Utilizes observational techniques in caring for the residents
• Listens to residents and reports any special information/concerns to the charge nurse
• Demonstrates proper use of body mechanics in lifting, positioning and transferring residents
• Utilizes safety and lift devices in the appropriate situations
• Observes infection control procedures
• Adheres to policies and procedures
• Demonstrates good interpersonal relations, friendliness and an attitude of sensitivity and caring
• Works cooperatively with and communicates effectively with co-workers, residents, visitors
• Observes safety standards and department safety policies and procedures

Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
