CNA- 7pm to 7am Every Other Weekend Hospice Alliance - 4.1 Pleasant Prairie, WI Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $16.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid orientation Qualifications High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Meal preparation End-of-life care CNA Bathing assistance Full Job Description Join our award winning care team as a CNA working every other weekend from 7pm to 7am in our beautiful 8-bed residential hospice house. This position requires a Wisconsin certification as a CNA with the ability to work in federally certified facility. The ability to work additional hours is desired to assist with coverage when our full-time CNAs are off. This position also participates in the holiday rotation and works two holidays per year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Administers patient care under the direction of the RN and as instructed by the CNA care plan Reports changes in the client's condition and/or needs to the RN Case Manager Provides personal cares, including but not limited to bathing, shampooing, skin and nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, dressing Performs household tasks essential to health care, including but not limited to meal preparation and feeding, laundry, light housekeeping Accurately documents provided cares and submits the documents and pertinent observations following Hospice Alliance policy and procedure Attends CNA in-services to ensure compliance with the state requirement of 12 continuous education hours per year Communicates effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary team Other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate preferred Must have current, valid Wisconsin Nursing Aid certification Previous Hospice/Palliative experience preferredJob Types:
