This vital role involves providing personalized, respectful care to individuals across various healthcare settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and home care environments. If you're passionate about supporting others' well-being and eager to grow your healthcare expertise, this opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding career path. All positions are paid, emphasizing the value of your contribution from day one. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patients' conditions, reporting findings accurately in medical documentation systems such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records). Requirements Valid CNA certification or equivalent licensure required; additional certifications such as CPR/BLS are highly valued. Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or in specialized environments like hospice, ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level I/II Trauma Centers is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration procedures. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and execute manual handling techniques essential for patient transfers and mobility assistance. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining professionalism at all times. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines and practicing infection control protocols diligently. Embark on a fulfilling career where your caregiving skills empower others to live healthier lives! We value your dedication and provide ongoing opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment committed to excellence in patient care.
