The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and maintains a safe, clean environment for hospice patients in an inpatient setting. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this full-time, non-exempt role offers a starting pay of $20.50/hour with night and weekend differentials. The schedule is night shifts (8 pm - 8 am) for 3 days a week, including some weekends. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, transfers, ambulation, meal prep, and light housekeeping. They record patient interventions, report changes, and ensure safety and comfort. The role may involve vital signs, dressing changes, and patient education. Requirements include current WV CNA license, at least one year of experience, transportation, and physical ability to work 12-hour shifts and move patients/equipment. Must demonstrate competency, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing education. Additional duties include assisting with facility cleaning and supporting staff as needed.
