JOB SUMMARY A
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential hands-on care to adult and pediatric patients while supporting overall unit operations. The role contributes to the department and hospital by promoting safe, efficient, patient
  • and family-centered care and supporting effective communication and workflow across the unit.
Scope of responsibility includes direct patient care and clinical support under the direction of licensed nursing staff, as well as unit-based support functions such as answering phones and call lights, assisting with patient admissions and discharges, documenting care activities, maintaining patient care areas and equipment, and coordinating information flow, without independent clinical decision-making.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications/Licenses:
Current Wyoming CNA license
BLS Job Knowledge and Skills:
Prefer experience in acute care, long-term care or skilled care. Prefer experience in computer use and clerical skills.
