Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team in the Birmingham, AL market. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative leadership and strategic direction to the nursing home, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as corporate policies and procedures Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, staff, and the medical community to ensure exceptional customer service and seamless patient care Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistical data Collaborate with other departments to promote interdisciplinary care and communication Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings Recruit, hire, and train staff members to ensure adequate staffing levels and high-quality care
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in the state of Alabama Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, or business) preferred At least 5+ years of experience as a long-term care administrator Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Commitment to delivering exceptional resident care and service
