Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Living Executive Director to lead and oversee the operations of a Memory Care community/SCALF. . This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care, fostering a vibrant community environment, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare/State regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for senior care, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience managing assisted living and memory care environments. As the face of the community, you will inspire your team, engage residents and their families, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Provide strategic leadership to ensure operational excellence across all departments within the senior living community. Oversee daily facility operations, including resident services, staff management, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support programs. Supervise management teams and direct staff to ensure high-quality resident care and satisfaction. Maintain compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and disability services standards. Manage healthcare financials including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency. Foster a positive community culture that promotes resident engagement, safety, and well-being while supporting staff development and retention. Requirements Category
II SCALF
License issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators Proven management experience in senior living facilities such as retirement homes, assisted living communities, or nursing homes. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, health policy standards, and dementia-specific care practices. Strong background in assisted living-ALF and SCALF administration management with nursing leadership experience preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and resident safety procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while managing complex operational tasks such as budgeting and financial management. Experience working with individuals with those requiring specialized memory care services is highly desirable.
