Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director of Assisted Living to lead and oversee the daily operations of our senior living community. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader dedicated to providing exceptional care, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations and industry standards. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high-quality resident services, and driving the overall success of the facility. If you are a motivated professional with extensive experience in long-term care, nursing home administration, and senior living management, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and their families. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all aspects of assisted living operations, including staff management, resident care, and facility maintenance. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support services. Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations, long-term care policies, and safety standards. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, and financial reporting to ensure operational efficiency. Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations of staff members across various departments. Foster strong relationships with residents' families, healthcare providers, community agencies, and regulatory bodies. Maintain accurate documentation related to medication administration, resident records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance. Promote a positive community environment that emphasizes dignity, respect, and quality of life for all residents. Requirements Proven management experience within assisted living facilities Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and assisted living best practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in budgeting and healthcare financial management. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and resident safety procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents' families and community partners.
