Job Summary Our agency serves individuals with developmental disabilities. At least 2 years experience managing a DDD group home is required. No other type of group home management will be considered comparable. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DDD Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our group home facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents. This role involves managing staff recruitment, supervising staff performance, and coordinating services to meet residents' needs. The DDD Group Home Manager plays a vital role in fostering a positive community atmosphere and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Recruit, interview, and hire qualified staff members to maintain adequate staffing levels. Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and support to promote professional development. Staff recruitment is highly desired. Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families. Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, and operational procedures. Foster a welcoming and respectful environment that promotes residents' well-being and independence. Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to deliver comprehensive support services Qualifications Proven experience in managing or supervising in a residential or care facility setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate staff effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, families, and external partners. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to group homes or similar facilities. Ability to handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and compliance reporting. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care for residents. Relevant certifications or licenses related to healthcare or social services are preferred but not mandatory
Regulatory:
Must be at least 21 years of age. Current, unrestricted drivers with no more than two (2) minor moving violations or one (1) accident within the past three (3 years). Three (3) years of driving experience required. Transportation for daily visits, to attend trainings, and perform other work-related activities. Organizational vehicles may not be available at all times. Must be able to pass a criminal background check prior to employment and regular checks for the duration of the employment. Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (paid by organization). CPR, First Aid, Article IX, and Prevention & Supports certification (paid training). .
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
