Nursing Home Administrator Golden Sonora Care Center | Sonora, CA Golden Sonora Care Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 210-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility. This is an opportunity for a proven long-term care leader who can build a strong team, maintain a culture of accountability, and drive excellence in resident care and facility performance. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations. Lead, coach, and develop department heads while establishing clear expectations and accountability. Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care and positive outcomes. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ensure ongoing survey readiness. Oversee staffing, labor, budgeting, and other key operational priorities. Monitor facility performance and implement strategies to address opportunities for improvement. Foster strong relationships with residents, families, employees, physicians, and community partners. Promote a workplace culture focused on teamwork, employee engagement, safety, and service. Oversee emergency preparedness, life-safety, and risk-management programs. Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and facility goals. Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, as required by applicable regulations. 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatric care, or a related healthcare setting. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong knowledge of long-term care operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems and applications. Passion for providing exceptional care and service to older adults.
