In this leadership role, you'll oversee our Memory Care neighborhood and help create an environment where residents feel safe, connected, engaged, and truly at home. About the Role The Memory Care Director leads the day-to-day operations and resident experience within the Memory Care neighborhood. This position is ideal for an experienced senior living professional who understands dementia care, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about creating meaningful moments for residents and their families. Working closely with the community's clinical leadership team, the Memory Care Director ensures Arbor's standards for care, programming, dining, team development, and the overall neighborhood environment are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations and overall resident experience within the Memory Care neighborhood Partner with clinical leadership to ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized care Develop, implement, and oversee engaging programs designed specifically for residents living with dementia Ensure the neighborhood's environment, routines, programming, and dining experience align with Arbor's Memory Care standards Train, coach, mentor, and support team members in dementia care best practices Build a strong, engaged team while supporting employee satisfaction and retention Develop meaningful relationships with residents and their families Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction, family communication, and exceptional customer service Identify opportunities to continually improve the Memory Care experience What We're Looking For Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals living with dementia Previous leadership or management experience strongly preferred LPN and/or Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) preferred Strong knowledge of dementia care approaches and best practices Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members Passion for creating an engaging, supportive, and resident-centered Memory Care environment Love What You Do and Where You Work At The Arbor Company , we believe in serving from the heart.
