Group Home Manager

Group Home Manager Out And About People, Inc. - Jacksonville, FL 32223 Out And About People, Inc. is seeking a strong, dependable Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations in a residential group home setting serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and maintains structure and accountability within the home.

Pay & Schedule:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience) Full-time position On-call responsibilities as needed Weekend availability required

Position Overview:

The Group Home Manager is responsible for ensuring the home operates efficiently, staff are supported and held accountable, and all individuals receive proper care in accordance with their support plans and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the group home Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Ensure staff follow schedules, policies, and behavior plans Monitor attendance, call-outs, and staff performance Ensure compliance with documentation (iConnect, progress notes, logs) Conduct routine walkthroughs and quality assurance checks Maintain a clean, safe, and structured environment Communicate regularly with leadership regarding updates, concerns, and performance

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a group home or similar setting Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to hold staff accountable and enforce expectations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening

Preferred Qualifications:
