Role:
The Resident Wellness Director/DON plays a vital role in overseeing the health and clinical services within our community in Lecanto, FL. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting team development, and creating a safe, supportive environment for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the clinical and caregiving team, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork. Complete and supervise resident assessments, ensuring care plans are individualized, accurate, and regularly updated. Guide daily clinical operations to ensure consistent, high-quality care and adherence to established standards. Support, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance evaluations. Serve as a point of contact for families and healthcare partners, helping coordinate care and maintain strong communication. Oversee infection control practices, documentation, and regulatory compliance to maintain a safe environment. Address clinical concerns promptly and proactively, ensuring effective resolution and continuity of care. Participate in an on-call rotation to support the community as needed.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in good standing. At least 2 years of experience in long-term care, assisted living, or a healthcare leadership role. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. A genuine commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care.
Team Development & Support:
