Orahh Care Dental Community seeks a Dental Hygienist to deliver compassionate, prevention-focused care in a community-based setting. Responsibilities include performing prophylaxis and periodontal therapy, taking and interpreting digital radiographs, conducting oral health screenings, and providing patient education tailored to diverse populations. You'll collaborate closely with dentists and support staff, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and adhere to strict infection control and safety standards while using modern dental technology and electronic health records. This role also supports outreach and educational initiatives that promote oral health and wellness in the local community. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to patient-centered care and continuous learning in a supportive, neighborhood-focused practice environment. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and non-surgical treatments. Obtain, expose, and interpret digital dental radiographs. Conduct oral health and periodontal assessments with accurate charting. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans. Apply fluoride, sealants, and other preventive treatments as indicated. Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols. Document findings and treatment in electronic dental records accurately. Collaborate with dentists and team members to coordinate patient care. Support community outreach and oral health education initiatives. Stay current with dental hygiene best practices and continuing education.
